Undici translates to "eleven" in Italian but it means more than a name for the Kallas family. It is the eleventh restaurant within the family. Owned by Chef Alex and his wife Dina, this restaurant is a place where people leave as part of their family. I should also add, this is definitely an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10 for Denver's Best Italian.
I can't believe I had never dined at Undici, but I am making up for the lost time I could have. The food is simply delicious. Chef Alex's core beliefs are "keep it fresh, keep it simple, let it be fun". There's a few items you can't miss from the menu such as the Burrata, $11 Wine Flight, Undici Rigatoni, and Tiramisu.
