EDGE Four Seasons Louis Roederer Cristal Dinner

Stop what you are doing and loop yourself in on every upcoming private dinner at EDGE Restaurant inside Four Seasons Denver. Last weekend I was invited as a guest of honor to join the Louis Roederer Cristal Dinner and it was one of the best dinner's I have been to. The private dining room has a glass wall that looks directly into the plating area of the kitchen. You can see all the action as they prepare your meal. There is also a door on that wall so that the chef and culinary team can enter the room to serve you directly from the line.

Roland Herrmann, the curator of wines for the evening, brought one of his private bottles, Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande 2011 from Pauillac, Bordeaux, France,  to pair with the Wagyu Striploin. The kitchen served us Chocolate Covered Strawberries with Ramos Pinto 30 Year Tawny from Portugal.

"The cuvées of the House of Louis Roederer are the fruit of patient work with fundamental ingredients, the collaboration of experts, a quest for the perfect balance, and hardy and generous grapes, cultivated in the Champagne soil, producing a wine with a summery character and crystalline elegance." Quoted from the Louis Roederer website.
