The town of Golden, Colorado is kicking off Restaurant week today, January 31st and it continues through February 9th. That's 9 days of exploring more than a dozen restaurants.
Golden's restaurant week specials include two-for-one cocktails, discounted entrees; three course dinners; free bottles of wine; free appetizers, free deserts and more. It’s the perfect time to visit a new restaurant, or enjoy an old favorite.
If you've never ventured out of Denver or Boulder, Golden is so close! Head there before your reservation, where parking is FREE after 5pm. There are plenty of hip places for a pre-dinner cocktail. Seven craft breweries, two distilleries and a handful of tap houses and cocktail bars. My recommendation is to head to Miners Saloon, a restaurant hidden in the alley of a parking lot. I should mention they are also participating in Golden Restaurant Week with their pick six charcuterie and a bottle of wine for $40 when you mention "Golden Restaurant Week".
Downtown Golden is walk-able, which makes it easy to move from place to place. I recommend visiting more than once during Golden Restaurant Week but you can opt for a progressive style dinner and hit multiple restaurants in one night.

Cheese Ranch: 5 O'Clock Flights Special - 3 cheese plate with two glasses of wine or beer for $18.00
Launch Espresso.Food.Spirits: Two Glasses of wine and a charcuterie board for $20.00
Woody's Wood Fired Pizza Golden: Italian Dinner for Two ($49.99). Parmesan Garlic Knot appetizer, two salads from the salad bar, two orders of homemade ricotta-stuffed manicotti and a bottle of wine.
Old Capital Grille: Two entrees and a bottle of wine for $59.95 Entrees are: Salmon Steak with celery root puree, broccoli rabe, sun-dired tomatoes, chili garlic. New York Strip (8-ounces) with house made garlic mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. Roasted Chicken with ragu of baby carrots, potatoes, roasted mushrooms,and English peas.
Bella Colibri: Three course meal antipasto (appetizer), entree and dessert for $35.00 per person. The menu will be fixed.
