I've said it before and I can't say it enough, "There are new Babes in town, Sorbabes that is". Denver, prepare yourself and your taste buds for the newest gourmet sorbet that will have you ditching your ice cream pints for something tastier.
I recently tried Sorbabes at The Denver Flea and I was hooked. They were offering it as a sorbet float (just add soda or alcohol) or by the scoop. The raspberry sorbet with dark chocolaty bits is my favorite. I expected the flavors to be bold and the raspberry to overpower the chocolate but they actually compliment each other so perfectly. The raspberry isn't tart and the dark chocolate isn't bitter. The sorbet also is the perfect consistency that won't melt too fast and it never over hardens when you're scooping that first scoop. I've had so many times that I almost scooped my ice cream out of the pint and straight onto the floor or stabbed myself with with my spoon because ice cream hardens in the fridge. You won't have to worry about this with The Babes though.
I have to admit the best part of Sorbabes is that it's Gluten Free and Vegan. It's Soy Free, Never made with Corn Syrup, Dairy Free, and non GMO. They use natural flavors for all their varieties.
