I had the best weekend exploring Grandoozy as a Capital One partner! The festival was well executed, from the transportation pick-ups and drop-offs to the multi stage set ups and performance schedule. The food options were top notch and included over 30 Denver restaurants. There was even the option to pay with your mobile wallet through the Grandoozy App. I hopped on that option right away and linked my Capital One card, the preferred payment vendor of Grandoozy. Mobile payments allowed advance ordering and that meant skipping the lines.
Mother nature did a splendid job at scorching Denver with high 90° days for all three days of the festival. I escaped the heat by staying hydrated and in the chilled Destination Venture dome. They had an array of travel-themed activities in celebration of the Venture travel card. I highly recommend the Venture card that makes it easy to earn 2 miles per dollar on all purchases, which can be redeemed for any travel-related purchases. Neil and I hung out in the Venture Dome most of the days and loved taking photos at the 360° photo booth. The bar inside, had a variety of refreshments and Chef Carrie Baird was crafting Fancy Toast to snack on. Once the evenings were cooler we played bags (a.k.a corn hole) and hung out around the faux campfire outside the Venture Dome.
Grandoozy had several perks for Capital One cardholder's at the festival. Neil and I loved the special, V.I.P. access to the Cardholder's Lounge. The double decker viewing lounge was set up right next to the main stage with seating and electrical plugs. The complimentary chillax popsicles and sunscreen were awesome bonuses to the Cardholder's Lounge.
