I love the idea of a navy blue master bedroom but I can't find anything that isn't nautical. If my house was on a lake or beach it would be okay for a nautical theme but we are landlocked in the mountains. This makes Nautical a no-no. I have been searching everywhere for Navy Blue accents. When I travel, I seem to have the best luck like when I found a pillow at Nordstrom Rack in Chicago or Navy Blue sheets at Target in Boston (neither are pictured).
I have decided that the best way to make Navy my bedroom theme, is that I would need to create an accent wall. I don't regret my decision. I absolutely love this wall, especially because my interior designer mom busted out her painting clothes to help me.
Paint Color:
Royal Navy in a Satin Interior Stain. The first coat looked purple tinted but once drying and adding a second coat, it was perfect.
